The future is renewable

The Erfurt exhibition centre has been organising the International Symposium "Materials made from renewable raw materials" together with the Thüringen Institute of Textile and Plastics Research since 1999. It will take place on the 5th and 6th of September in our CongressCenter in the coming year. Experts from industry and research discuss fibre composite materials, biopolymer materials, alternative cellulose and wooden composites in four sections.

It is particularly gratifying that the "European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence“ (EPNOE) has decided to integrate its two-year old industry forum into the naro.tech. This strengthens the internationality of the symposium and increases number of participants from all over the world.

The symposium takes place in the run up to the agricultural exhibition "Grüne Tage Thüringen” (Green Days Thüringen).
